Frequently asked questions about Profex Wall Cladding
What is the difference between wooden wall cladding and Profex plastic wall cladding?
The primary difference lies in the properties of the products; new technology makes it almost impossible to see the difference. Wood requires more maintenance because it needs to be painted regularly and damage must be repaired to prevent wood rot. These problems do not exist with plastic. Plastic wall cladding retains its shape, does not warp because of moisture or heat and is not affected by mould and bacteria. Plastic wall cladding only needs to be cleaned annually.
What material is Profex wall cladding made of?
The panels are made of high-impact-resistant recycled PVC with an impact- and scratch-resistant top layer that has a wood grain. The top layer has a unique UV protection, is colour-ingrained, weather-resistant, colourfast and therefore has a very long service life.
